Terms & Conditions

1. What LessMenu is
LessMenu is a technology platform that connects you (the guest) with independent restaurants. Through LessMenu you can view a restaurant's menu, place dine-in orders from your table, request pickup orders, or request delivery orders, depending on what each restaurant has enabled.
LessMenu is an ordering bridge only. LessMenu is not the restaurant, does not prepare food or drinks, does not operate any kitchen, and does not perform deliveries. Every order you place is an order with the restaurant you selected, not with LessMenu.
2. The restaurant's responsibility
Each restaurant on LessMenu is an independent business and is solely responsible for: its menu content and accuracy; its prices, taxes, and fees; ingredient, allergen, and dietary information; food and drink quality and safety; order preparation and readiness times; delivery execution and timing where the restaurant delivers; item availability; the conduct of its staff; and your experience inside the restaurant.
The restaurant is also responsible for handling refunds, cancellations, complaints, and customer support relating to your order. LessMenu does not set or control any restaurant's prices, menu, or policies.
If you have food allergies, intolerances, or special dietary requirements, contact the restaurant directly before ordering. LessMenu cannot verify or guarantee any allergen or dietary claim shown on a menu.
3. Your responsibility as a guest
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide with an order: your name, phone number, chosen pickup or delivery time, delivery address and any map location you pin, and the contents of your order itself. Incorrect information may delay or prevent your order, and the restaurant may be unable to complete it.
You agree to use LessMenu only to place genuine orders. The restaurant may refuse or cancel orders it reasonably believes are not genuine.
4. Dine-in (table QR) ordering
When you scan a table QR code, your orders attach to that table and are payable to the restaurant under the restaurant's own rules, which may include a minimum charge or similar policies the restaurant configures and displays. Payment for dine-in orders is made directly to the restaurant.
5. Pickup orders
Pickup times shown are the restaurant's estimates and may shift with kitchen load. Payment is made at the restaurant when you collect your order, unless the restaurant states otherwise. If you do not collect an order, the restaurant's own policy applies.
6. Delivery orders
Delivery is performed by the restaurant or a party the restaurant arranges — never by LessMenu. Delivery fees, minimum order amounts, delivery areas, and estimated times are set by the restaurant and may change. Payment is made to the driver on delivery, unless the restaurant states otherwise. Providing an accurate address (and map pin where offered) is your responsibility; the restaurant may contact you by phone about your order.
7. Menus, prices, and availability
Menus, prices, fees, opening hours, and item availability are entered and updated by each restaurant and may change at any time without notice. The price confirmed at checkout is the restaurant's price for that order.
8. Service availability
LessMenu aims to keep the service available and reliable but does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free operation. The service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, technical issues, or reasons outside LessMenu's control.
9. Limitation of LessMenu's responsibility
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LessMenu is not liable for the acts or omissions of any restaurant, including food or drink quality and safety, menu or pricing errors entered by the restaurant, preparation or delivery delays, unavailable items, refunds or disputes, or staff conduct. LessMenu's role and responsibility are limited to providing the ordering technology.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under the law that applies to you.
10. Third-party services
LessMenu uses third-party services to operate, such as web hosting, the WordPress/WooCommerce platform, map and location services, and — where a restaurant enables it — messaging or automation providers. These services process only what is needed to run the ordering experience, as described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Questions, complaints, and disputes
For anything relating to your order — quality, timing, refunds, changes, or complaints — please contact the restaurant first; the restaurant is your counterpart for the order and can resolve it fastest. If you believe there is a problem with the LessMenu platform itself, contact LessMenu through the contact details published on this site.
12. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time as the service evolves. The version published on this page applies to orders placed while it is displayed.
This document is provided for transparency and general guidance. It is not legal advice, and it may be updated as the LessMenu service evolves.
